Bridge height over the Burns Channel is 23'.
Water depth is approximately 5' to 7' currently.
Accomodations available for Power Boats up to 50'.
Cost: $1 per foot per day plus a $50 party fee per boat for up to 6 people. Additional wristbands can be purchased for $15 per person.

EVENT ALERT - CALUMET-SAG CHANNEL CLOSED TO ALL VESSEL TRAFFIC
The Cal-Sag Channel will be closed to all vessel traffic on Saturday, November 3rd from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, November 4th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the Southland Regatta - Division 1 College Women's Rowing Event.
The City of Blue Island, Villages of Calumet Park, Alsip and Riverdale invite all members of the public and all boaters to attend this event and cheer on their favorite College team from two land based view stands. For further details about this event, download the event flyer here.

The specific details on the Cal-Sag closing are as follows:
165.T09-122 Safety zone; Blue Island - Regatta, Calumet Sag Channel, Blue Island, IL.
(a) Location. The following area is a temporary safety zone: all waters of the Calumet Sag Channel from the South Halstead Street Bridge at 41.39.27N, 087.38.9W; to the Crawford Avenue Bridge at 41.39.05N, 087.43.08W; and the Little Calumet River from the Ashland Avenue Bridge at 41.39.7N, 087.39.38.W; to the junction of the Calumet Sag Channel at 41.39.23N, 087.39W (NAD 83).
(b) Enforcement period. This zone will be enforced from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on November 3, 2007 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 4, 2007.
(c) Regulations. (1) In accordance with the general regulations in section 165.23 of this part, entry into, transiting, or anchoring within this safety zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Lake Michigan, or his on-scene representative. (2) This safety zone is closed to all vessel traffic, except as may be permitted by the Captain of the Port Lake Michigan or his on-scene representative. (3) The ''on-scene representative'' of the Captain of the Port is any Coast Guard commissioned, warrant or petty officer who has been designated by the Captain of the Port to act on his behalf. The on-scene representative of the Captain of the Port will be aboard either a Coast Guard or Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel.

Friday - Galley open 5:00 P.M.— 9:00 P.M. - Bar open until 10:00 P.M.
Saturday - Galley open 5:00 P.M.— 9:00 P.M. -Bar open until 10:00 P.M.
Sunday - Galley open 4:00 P.M.— 8:00 P.M. - Bar open until 9:00 P.M.
The Club is closed on Saturdays in November for private events on the following dates: November 3rd, November 10th and November 17th.
